I’ve tailgated for a few years now staying overnight and hanging out with all kinds of people including BYU fans of every type, and opposing fans and have never witnessed people being judgmental or unkind to anyone.

It’s been an awesome experience to just be cool and inviting to people without worrying about potential differences or varying approaches to things - for the most part, people are people and even weirdos or contrary people have their charm.

I guess what I’m saying is it’s not just those that feel different about their fandom (or the Church, etc) that want to reach out, love and be inclusive to all. It’s a LOT of us.
