It is almost impossible to break the main controller of a modern phone in a drop.. the screen might not look broken.. but ithats your problem.

Expect to pay around $375 for an iPhone 40 Pro Max screen. For me, its not worth the ~$50 savings to get a non-apple (lower quality) screen at that price.. I would just take it to apple to get fixed.
