Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I don’t want to beat the utes every year, I’m just saying that there are much more important accomplishments than beating Utah (such as playing in the CCG or playoffs).

On the flip side, it wouldn’t be a good season if we went 4-8 and beat Utah. It might help us find a silver lining to rally around as part of a bad season, but it would still be a bad season.

The Utah game would be more important of course if it was the game that decided which of those two schools was going to play in the CCG, but that’s due to the implications and not just the team itself.
