The hate for him was just irrational, but any concerns expressed about our season with him as the QB1 before the season started were absolutely justified.

That said, he has definitely shattered those concerns. He has earned our support and we should expect a bad game or two (hopefully NOT against Utah). Everyone has an off-day or a bad game, even two. If we turn on him as soon as he has a bad game or two, then we are no better than Utah "fans". Based on what Retzlaff has done this year, I think that any serious Cougar fan would give him the benefit of the doubt for the rest of the season.

I hope Bohannon and the others in that QB room are preparing to step in if he gets hurt.
