I have believed for a while Utahs reign over BYU would end shortly after they were in even power conference footing.

Take their best ever coach about to retire
Take the P5 advantage away

Then add the shock/surprise that BYU seems to be comfortable with getting in the NIL game (way in with basketball) and it’s clear the tide is going to turn

Also, look at the BYU fan base that stayed strong for a decade while the program wandered in the Indy wilderness.

The BYU program in FB and BB is ready for a renaissance. I think it starts this year.
