It’s fine. Milton really didn’t impact Orlando that much

By the time the storm got to Orlando it had calmed down quite a bit. Winds were more like 50 mph with gusts into the 70's.  Lots of debris around (tree branches and leaves), but not a massive disaster.  Most of that will be cleaned up by this weekend.

Disney, for example, will be open again today, so things are pretty close to back to normal already.

Tampa is a different story as that is where the storm made landfall. Being right on the coast they had to deal with storm surge (water from the gulf being pushed ashore), winds way above 100 mph and absolutely drenching rain. They still have lots of power out and have a lot of serious damage.

 Hurricanes are very powerful storms, but they generally lose their power pretty quickly when they hit land as they lose the fuel that powers them (the warm water below). Doesn't mean they can't still be really destructive, but the images you see on the news tend to be somewhat localized, not something that cuts across the entire path of the storm.
