I had autologous stem cell, PRP and fat injection in my knee done by an MD and
it has been great. It cost $$$ and it takes time to fully work, but my knee is feeling great (10 months later).

I injured my knee hiking. Traditional ortho doctor reviewed the MRI of my knee and identified a small meniscus tear and 4 locations of stage 4 osteoarthritis. He said the meniscus tear was too small to operate on and should heal on its own.

For the arthritis, his recommendation was to just take ibuprofen to deal with the pain until I could live with it no longer and then get a knee replacement. That didn’t sit well with me and I decided to look into stem cell treatment.

My sister in law had great success with stem cell treatment for a shoulder issue. She used a reputable MD for the treatment.

I found a Dr in Tucson that does a great job. He had terrific reviews on the web. I also had an initial consultation with an MD in Phoenix. The MD in Tucson had totally prepared for my consultation and went through my MRI ahead of time and discussed how his treatment could help with each of the areas of damage. He spent 45 minutes with me. The MD in Phoenix wasn’t prepared at all and seemed anxious for the free consultation to be over. So I chose the MD in Tucson.

I would not get treatment from the kind of provider that you described.
