9th is fair and in the general range of what we should realistically expect.
I personally would probably put us 8th right now, but could see us finishing anywhere in that 6th to 9th range. How I have it:

The top group of teams (1-5) are teams that are contenders and have potential to be Top 10 teams. 2nd group (6-9) are teams that should be able to make the NCAA tourney and have potential to be Top 25. 3rd group (10-12) are teams I expect to be in the NIT but have a shot to push for an NCAA bid. 4th group (13-16) are teams that I expect to be at the bottom of the conference.
