My sense is that the long term side effects are the same side effects one gets
from just not eating enough food...so side effects like loosing muscle mass or gastroparesis (both things that anorexia can cause).

Semaglutide is the active ingredient in all these drugs, and it is a peptide, or a chain of 31 amino acids, that is supposed to mimic a naturally occuring peptide in the stomach that makes you feel full (glp-1). I personally think the "long-term side effects" of semaglutide will be the same as the side effects of of the naturally occuring agent (i.e., you feel full...which might lead to problems from feeling too full too often).
