Many pros, one con:
You have to keep it charged. If you put it in your trunk and forget it for a month, it will be too low on charge to use. So if you want it in the car, you’d have to have an inverter in the trunk and remember to plug it in once a month.

I keep it plugged in my garage and it’s ready to go at a moment’s notice. It can be taken with you on a trip or important drive with a suspect battery, and I have used it repeatedly in a two year period between myself, wife and other family members.
