At least in my northeastern state. It's probably not as bad in states that don't hate football. My son is having a completely different experience in football. Full contract in practice is on a time limit mandated by the state. Some drills just don't exist anymore. I actually worry it makes the games more dangerous because kids don't get enough reps making or being on the receiving end of hits.
