and Wyoming hammered us out of the blue. We only had 1 loss going into that game.

Then we lost the last 2 games to end on a 3-game losing streak. One of the most disappointing endings to a season that I can remember as a BYU fan, other than 1990, after Ty won the Heisman.

Anyway, I do remember that play and that game. Chris Hale’s dad was in my bishopric when I lived in the dorms at BYU, and I had actually met him when he was a young kid.
