I served some of my mission in the Ryukyu Islands but not in Okinawa. I'd like
to see some WWII sites in Okinawa and take in its beaches and natural beauty.
Another WWII-related vacation I'm mulling over is bike ride along the path British XXX Corps took in Operation Market Garden. Departing from the Meuse-Escaut Canal in Belgium and arriving at Arnhem Bridge in The Netherlands from which British 1st Airborne eventually had to withdraw.
