With sports becoming more efficient and smarter, overall talent level higher, and Home Field/Court Advantage diminished over the years, I wish all sports would tweak how they set up their playoff matchups.

I believe that the 1 seed should pick who they face in the bracket and then they draft down the line each round. So for example in the NBA Seeds 1-4 would draft from Seeds 5-8 for the first round, and then 2nd round the highest seed gets to pick who they face. Could apply for all sports and help get the best teams in the Conference Finals matchups
