There were something like 14 days of OTA's, the last two of which were the only
mandatory days and that was the "mandatory mini-camp". He was there for all the voluntary days but had scheduled his Egypt trip prior to that schedule coming out while he was still rehabbing from his achilles.

It's hard for me to use that as an example because he was there for every single voluntary practice the Jets had except those two days which were no different from the rest, just happened to have the label of mandatory. Everyone knew if things went wrong this would be brought up again, even though it's no big deal.
