Superdome, Allegiant, Death Valley, Nebraska, GA Tech, Autzen, Baylor…
West Virginia, Washington State, Liberty, Kansas, Rice Eccles, Utah State, Sam Boyd (bowl games), BSU.
—Best home field advantage: Death Valley (nearly 100,000 passionate and mostly buzzed or totally inebriated fans + 1000’s more tailgating outside. Geaux Tigers!)
—Worst home crowd: Washington St. (They love their team. But even their home crowd has to travel and didn’t show for a Thursday night PAC-12 game or BYU after coach Rolo suspended for refusing COVID stuff)
—Most loyal/die hard fanbase: Nebraska
—Surprisingly good venue: Liberty. Terrible game though
I need to take in (a lot) more road games. BYU does not have the biggest or most storied venue. But as to my personal preference, I’ll take LES and BYU’s current traditions, crowd and game production over any of them. Scenery goes to Lavell by a country mile.
We may be the worst for legroom though. Just saying.
