My biggest advice:
If you get a switch then don’t buy the physical games - buy them for download. The cartridges are small and easily misplaced by kids.
Smash Bros - $50+
Mario Kart - $50+
Mario Odyssey - $50+
Etc.
Buy a large mini sd card and download them. They’ll be tied to your Nintendo account, to boot, so if you misplace your sd card then you can download the game again.
