by the end of the season things do get mostly figured out but the preseason bias is still very present outside of the top 5.

it’s also annoying that the media is wrong 90% of the time, yet they still control who gets the good slots and exposure and everything.

if the sport was more resume based, it would be more entertaining and IMO it would be more interesting getting more looks into teams that deserve it and not regurgitating the same narratives for the same schools that never meet the medias ridiculous expectations.
