you have (or if you're retired, how much money you have stashed away). All of the places I mentioned in my post have very nice areas to live, and beautiful homes, with a very high standard of living for those with some money.
I thought Tunisia was very pretty and has some really pleasant areas, but I'm not sure about the job market. Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia has good job opportunities, a fairly high average standard of living, and Malaysia has the most beautiful beach I've been to (Perhentian in northeast Malaysia). The bigger cities of India are pretty cosmopolitan and have lots of high-paying jobs, and nice residential areas, but they also tend to be chaotic (and are also mostly not majority-Muslim, as you noted). Morocco has some beautiful areas, kind of similar to what I said about Tunisia. Dubai is like a cleaner, nicer version of Las Vegas, except with beaches and no gambling.
