what all the complaints are about.

I read the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings books as a kid and loved them. I really liked the LOTRs movies, but did NOT like the Hobbit movies (The Hobbit was my favorite book as a kid). As a kid I imagined the elves quite a bit differently. The movies (and TV show) just made them blonde Vulcans that were fast.

I don't know all the 'lore' or stories associated with pre-LOTRs books/movies. I'm curious where this is going over the next 3 seasons.
