They were in my ward when he committed
This is straight from his dad:
Frank was meeting with BYU coaches and his dad and mom talked to him about not committing, well he committed.
His dad asked him why, and he said something to the effect of I want to go there and I am going to marry the hottest girl there.
So there was legit interest at one point.
