I think the best available right now would be the Bravia 8 in a 55" - 65" size.
Of course if you can pop for the Bravia 9 you'll get the best on the market IMHO. Their processors just seem to make the TVs better than most. Some say there is a bit of a Sony tax but in depth reviews justify it pretty well.
