In reality he has been very good this season. It helps when your D gives you a lot of short fields, but I remember so many BYU teams in the last decade plus where we would get a turnover close to the goal line and consistently move the ball 5 (or -5) yards, and then have to settle for a kick.

He still has a weird throw occasionally, but overall he has been good.
