from the MWC days but not by now. In MWC days, BYU would play usually at least 2 P5 teams in the non-conference. And the MWC for awhile was stronger too - with U of U, TCU, Boise St.

For now, we've played 2 terrible teams (SIU and Wyoming) and three average to good P5 teams. I don't think that's all that different from some of the tougher MWC schedules. But by end of season, yes going through B12 conference is a tougher schedule than the total MWC was.
