I’ve tried to take a step back from social media the past couple of weeks (FB and CB) because of the political climate, but am sitting in a company-mandated training course today and so to pass the time I’ve been on both CB and FB today.

Right off this morning I read an idiotic comment on FB from a friend of mine comparing Kamala to Moses. Against my better judgement, I called out the ridiculousness of his comment and have been going back and forth throughout the day, with a few comments here on CB as well.

Then a friend of mine posted the pic below of a Helene victim in NC, and my whole attitude changed. I couldn’t help but get a little emotional as well.

Getting upset and arguing with people online isn’t going to change anyone’s opinion, and all it’s going to do is create contention.
