overall pickup for a Frosh, but they needed to pick up different pieces than what they did to get the sorta roster balance they'll need to be a good D, imo.

I do like that they're picking up larger (6-footish) guards (which are a lot more versatile in women's play than in men's), but we need athletic PF types too. Some of the very young gals they got MIGHT amount to that as upperclassmen, but they don't look like anything that's be close to that as Frosh. Not at the Big12 level of play, anyway.

Kendra (the big PF originally from Baylor) was a good pick-up, but we really need another of her after our losses from last year's roster (Gustin, Matavao, Mata, & Bubakar — which besides Gustin weren't huge losses, I don't think — IF we coulda found positional replacements for them ready to play; but we didn't as far as I can see).

I really wish our bball team eye-tested more in the way of Heather's volleyball roster.
