East stands have many bleachers so less stuffy crowd, but afternoon sun is in your face.

Student sections wrap from east stands across to the south end zone. It's fun to sit near them. That area probably gets the most t-shirts, mini footballs etc thrown into the crowd and is where Cosmo does his major stunts.

North end zone seems like a good crowd but not quite the energy of south end zone imo. It's across the entire field from the band and student section, so a more interesting view but also far removed.
