take for granted the ability to see small detail up close. Like being at Home Depot trying to read the small print and having to go back out to the truck to grab your readers. Or going backpacking, noticing you can no longer see well enough to thread the fishing line through the hook, realizing you didn't bring any readers or magnifiers, spending 20 minutes and finally lucking out, only to have to cut the line on the first cast because you got a snag, and then doing it all over again. That was fun.
