You put more substantial information in one post than some do in months of
complaining about the offense or team as a whole. I respect that criticism.

One thing I can get behind as a complaint, at least with my limited knowledge, is the run game as a whole. I think Anae and Grimes were good at having a solid run game that could set up for other offensive plays in the passing game. Arod seems to prefer a different style, and whatever that style is it seems to result in a run game that is at higher risk for being pretty hit or miss and therefore risky to rely on when they really need it.

I feel like other coordinators do this too though. Like Ludwig at Utah. Bernard would come through with some big runs and first downs, then they go pass, pass, pass, punt, and it just seems like they would rather be a passing team than a run team.

But again, I don’t know exactly why they choose the plays they do at any given time.
