I get the 5mg finasteride and cut it in 1/4. Bought a year supply for around $20 without insurance (cheaper than co-pay) and then get minoxidil from Costco.

I stopped for 3-4 months and saw a huge decline so started back up again. My hair isn't thick but I started the finasteride too late.
