est rated recruits have pretty much all bombed. In fact, the highest rated qb recruits out of hs in general don't end up being all that great in college even.

But your point is well taken and yes, I'd like to see BYU sign more top-notch/high profile qb's out of high school as well. Or maybe they have and I just haven't noticed. But getting the highest rated ones usually doesn't seem to pan out well.
