Our stake will be sending 100 volunteers on each of September 12th and 13th to the Blue Ridge to help with hurricane cleanup.

As a bit of commentary, since I don't know what reporting has been done across the nation, the damage to the mountain towns is catastrophic.

Any prayers and ability you may have to donate resources to the cause, I hope you would consider doing so. The impact of this event speeds widely across the south. Much more so than is typical for a hurricane simply because of unfortunate events and conditions coming together at the worst time.

It's mind-boggling to consider how events conspired to create this tragedy in a place I never would have thought would be at risk of hurricane impact.
