Conversion rate is a misleading statistic
For example, if you make 2 field goals in 2 red zone visits (6 points) that is a 100% conversion rate.
But if you get 1 TD (7 or 8 points) in 2 visits, that is a 50% conversion rate. 1 TD is always better than 2 FGs.
It should be measured by points per red zone visit, not conversion rate.
