Started to install a floodlight on Friday, total cost almost $200. How?
- $22 for the light…then realized all the things I lacked:
- $6 for an exterior box to mount (new light needed circular box)
And since it’s a brick exterior…
- $22 for a masonry bit set
- $12 for masonry screws
- $110 for a hammer drill
Also had:
- $12 in snacks for my assistants (family rule is you go to hardware store with dad, you get a treat, 3 trips in total add up)
