Portland for one season and then to Southern Mississippi for 3 seasons likely means she wasn't on BYU's radar. Portland and Southern Mississippi are certainly not usual top 25 contenders like BYU is.

But seeing who was in the BYU 2020 recruiting class (so same class as Wesley), 4 players none of whom had a big impact at BYU.



Madi Allen from that 2020 class for BYU played some for BYU and now is in her 3rd season at San Diego. I didn't realize when San Diego beat BYU in 5 sets that it was a revenge game for Madi Allen.
