If Arraez sits tomorrow, it's not to protect the batting title.
He's been dealing with an injured thumb for 2 months. With nothing to play for resting it for the last two regular season games before the WC series on Tuesday is the smart thing to do.

They should have sat Ohtani after he was 2 for 3. Get that average up, the guy

I agree, but hard to not do something like that, if the guy ahead of you gets

At 2/3 Ohtani's average would be .311, still .003 short.

Yea but one more game.

Hopefully the Padres sit him. Ohtani would have to go 4-4 or 4-5 to pass him.

4/5 would do it if Arraez doesn't play

Seems like if Arraez wants the batting title he just needs to sit out.

Yea that is a crappy way to win it. Man up and play the game.

A crappy way to win would be being in 2nd, 2nd, and 4th, behind
