There were a ton of holds on Baylor not called. As much as I love the win, it
was easily the worst reffing against BYU all year. Lots of missed PI on Baylor, and BYU would have had at least 2 or 3 more sacks, and a few more QB hurries if the would-be sacker were not held, often literally from behind, after being completely beat. But the PI for hitting Retzlaff out of bounds was admittedly very close, and possibly a bad call.
Still, overall, after BYU being up 21-0, Baylor got almost every close call the rest of the game. There seemed to be about 10-12 key plays in a row, that were nearly "big plays" for BYU, that ended up being "big plays" for Baylor instead, like many of the 3rd and 4th down conversions, and many of the "barely inbounds" catches. BYU often came within inches on many occasions to winning on a key play, only to lose. It was not as stark as KSU, but the ball "bouncing BYU's way" kinda even'd out a bit with this game, IMO. Yet, we still one with 3 key stops at the end of the game.

Defense let far too much happen in the air, especially on 3rd and 4th down, but I was impressed with their QB and receivers. Still, a few of those completions may not have happened if the rampant and blatant Baylor holding calls were not missed.
