The PAC's entire schtick is that they don't want to add worthless programs to their conference. Hawaii brings its own obstacles but they do have one of the better football reputations among the G5 programs. And a new Aloha Stadium in conjunction with PAC membership could go a long way to reinvigorating a fan base that has traditionally shown decent support for that program.

I am curious what the actual poaching terms are from that scheduling agreement. Specifically, how far out does that increased exit fee extend?
