My wife gets me watching some shows I would never watch otherwise.

I came home from work yesterday and caught episode 2 of Worst Ex Ever.

In this episode a woman starts dating a guy. She finds out he is married and isn't a cop as he has portrayed. She breaks up with him and guy comes to her house and rapes her. She files charges and court dates are set. The guy gets out on bail of $150,000.

Woman is later arrested for armed robbery and her bail is set for $1 million. She spends about 6 months in jail as the system finally gets to the facts that the ex set her up. He had friends call and make false reports leading to her arrest. She was potentially facing 50 years in prison.

Dude that raped her and set her up gets 32 years in prison. Our justice system is messed up on many levels.

Great show that will make you want to punch a hole in a wall. She did end up getting 2 million for the complete incompetent and unethical actions of the police and prosecution.
