You are right we do not need the additional seats as is...I was proposing this as a way to addressed decreased number of seats if we took out the bleacher seats and replaced them with chair seats except for the students seats. So, if they did this change, a way to compensate for losing so many seats, would be to fill in the corners. Make sense. As far as structural ability, not sure but imagine they could figure this out if needed.
