I’ve watched a lot of Ute games over the last few years and know Hideki a bit.

I think he’s a good coach and a really nice guy but he’s a not a good recruiter. He doesn’t know how to recruit Utah. He thinks he’s getting Stanford recruits (literally was told this by one of his assistants). He better figure out how to recruit Utah or he will be gone.

He’s so many pieces away from even having a good team. They’ve been stuck in mediocrity or worse since he was hired.
