Whoever the 4th highest Conference Champ is, is sitting in a really really tough spot.

Seed #4 (probably ranked something like #8 to #10), gets to play Seed #5!! Who is seed #5.... probably the runner up in the SEC or maybe the runner up in the BigTen. They are probably ranked #3, and maybe even ranked #2. And they are probably really really mad, having lost a game they probably don't think they should have lost in the SEC Championship game (or maybe the BigTen championship game).

The #5 seed probably just completely thrashed the #12 seed the round before. That #12 seed is probably ranked around 20-25.

That Pod - the Pod with Seed 4, Seed 5 and Seed 12 - is THE most bizarre and unequal pod.

You really don't want to be #4 seed in that pod. (yeah, It's better than being ranked 12 and not getting into the playoff!)
