Everything we do, from BYUtv specials on upcoming team stories, ice cream., band playing fight song, running out their state flag in Wyoming, to jimmering their Charity. And most importantly being decent respectful hosts to visiting guests. That is what I love most about BYU. It just all feels right and real.

Then be loud as heck and win the game.


I know at times this has all been thrown out the window with the red team up north, but we should repent of our part in that, at least in our house.
Bad actions have lingering effects.
I would at times over the last 18 years want to chear for Utah a time or two in big games they have played, but the only time I went to watch a game in their stadium, 1996, I was cursed at, saw bloody garments being waved around, and was punched in the head and jumped on, and told to go whine about it tomorrow in Sacrament meeting. Sorry, but that's the truth.

How we treat our guests create how they feel about us. I like the fact that we are doing a better job.

Let's keep it up. Can we find a way to do it next time Utah comes to town. Otherwise this behavior toward others may feel hypocritical.
