Jay Rick All-American
I loved it. I saw it in the theater and the war scenes were pretty amazing on
the big screen, with big sound. It was really intense.

I loved the ambiguity of the conflict. It wasn’t supposed to be about American politics of now. They went out of their way to make sure it wasn’t. It was just “war is hell,” and “there are no winners” as a message, and I really liked that a lot.

I don’t even think it was supposed to about “hero journalists.” I felt like focusing on the journalists was just a tool to tell the story - gave us a perspective that wasn’t from either side of the conflict.
