Last season gave one group all the momentum, 2 weeks ago they had it again
Every week that we win whether it's against a D3 team or Kansas State, the other group has the power and loves to told you so. It's way less about facts at this point than it is about being right to their truth than it is about what is actually truth. Kalani is a god, I told you so. ARod is good. Jake is gonna win the Heisman. I told you so. This is much less about bandwagon and flip flopping than it is about chest pounding about being right. That's just where we are as a society. It feels like politics has blead over into sports and it's really hard in general to have a rational conversation about opportunities and wins. Two weeks ago Jake was the same Jake as last year, a bum, ARod was awful. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

The way we won the other day was not in dominant fashion. It was very much taking advantage of the opportunities and momentum created by the defense and not making any major mistakes. That's not sustainable for an entire season so I'd imagine we'll see the board flip and flop throughout the year. When I say not sustainable, the defense and offense could play the exact same game, but not every QB is gonna be able to be game planned like Avery Johnson. We may get 1 TO or 2 TO's or we might not get any in a game.

My hope for this team is similar to the Utah team in 2008 and catch lightning in a . It was a team with a very flawed QB for much of the year that had a hard time moving the ball within the offense. For the first 2/3 of the year, you saw an offense that at times was stagnant and actually being booed at times. The team kept winning in weird ways(Oregon State, TCU) and by the end of the season had just figured out how to win games and had stayed relatively healthy.
