I'll also note that 4K is not necessarily better — unless you pay at least double for a 4K dash cam, it only does 4K 30fps and typically having 60fps is better for a dash cam.
There are plenty of YouTube videos with people showing the different popular models of dash cams and how they compare, so you might check some of them out and see if there is a model whose picture you really like.
One final note: if you have a Homelink or day/night mirror, you might be able to get a plug that will let you power your dash cam from your mirror — so you don't have to run the power cord around the windshield; though it likely will only supply power when the car is on.
