Networking call in the evening.
Suppose I found someone through LinkedIn that works in my field and I want to network with him to maybe find an opportunity at his company. I cold message him and ask to connect. He connects with me and then I ask him if he would be okay having a 30-45 minute discussion with me about prospects on his team. He says this is fine and to send him some available times. Would it be weird to ask to meet with him on a video call around 7 pm one night? (So certainly after working hours for both of us).

No alumni connections or personal connections. Strictly a cold call business call.

Would you think it was odd if a person on LinkedIn asked to have a networking call after 7 pm? This is not a "let's get drinks" type of thing. It will be strictly to discuss my resume and background.
