Good route and good sell of the block but the design of that play is really the thing of beauty. That concept of
bringing the receiver, usually a back or slot receiver type, in motion to move his defender and then just beating the defender back to side is the new goal line staple play call. Won the Chiefs a Super Bowl and nearly everybody else uses that concept. The beauty was the option off of that sprint. Combined with the really good sell of the block and that spot Lassiter ran to was completely indefensible. No way that defense can beat that play design. Best part is we now have it on film and the next time we run it the defense could be guessing and that will open that sprint out back up.
