The coaches clearly went out and prioritized defensive talent first. I think it was on purpose, e.g., defense travels.

Secondly, Jake has only 7 games under his belt, and is still growing. We don't know how good he can become. He IS showing improvement however, and that's the key. If he continues to improve, we could see a pretty special year next year, if not this year. Pretty fun ride, meanwhile, we should watch to see signs of improved behaviors, improved efficiency, improved accuracy, and sped-up processing. If it doesn't we really do have some guys in the room coming up as well. And Gerry looks to be good if Jake gets hurt.
