I agree. I love the book. Movie is ok,
but I didn’t love the casting. BaggerVance seemed more like Morgan Freeman to me than Will Smith.
In the book, Vance has an almost Godlike character. During the match when Junnah calls a penalty on himself, Vance says “In this moment, you have reached me.” Very powerful message about our own relationship with Heavey Father.
